Pharmacological activity

Anti-inflammatory effect:Pure Luteolin can regulate a variety of inflammatory mediators and change various signal pathways involved in inflammation. Specifically, luteolin inhibits macrophage phosphorylation, inhibits the activity of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB), and inhibits the expression of inflammatory factors such as interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) induced by lipopolysaccharide in macrophages. In addition, luteolin can also increase interferon-γ (IFN-γ), reduce specific immunoglobulin E (Ig-E), and reduce the infiltration of eosinophils.
